    Stop killing your eardrums when you equalise! The Dry Gauge is aimed at both scuba divers and freedivers (and spearfishers!). It allows you to measure the pressure you exert when you equalise, and thus learn how to reduce it.

    In fact, a majority of divers and freedivers exert too much pressure on their eardrums. This leads to discomfort, pain, and even long-term hearing loss. As an example, we have found that most scuba divers (using Vasalva to compensate) instinctively exert a pressure of more than 70mm of mercury, i.e. more than three times the necessary pressure.

     

    The Dry Gauge will allow you to measure the pressure you exert, and to train yourself to reduce it.

    • More than 50mm of mercury? NOT GOOD!!!
    • 15 to 20 mm of mercury: your eardrums will thank you!
    • 2-3mm of mercury: Most likely you are using BTV to equalie? If not… think about it, because it seems you have a predisposition!

    Its minimalist shape generates very low drag, which prevents the nose clip from moving if you paddle too fast (monofin sprinters will understand!). The ultra-soft cushions, in the meanwhile, provide unparalleled comfort for an aluminum nose clip.

    Small nose or big nose, the curved silhouette of its cushions also makes it possible to adapt to a large number of morphologies: all you have to do is tilt the nose clip to your liking.

    Le STA Tic Tac est né d’une frustration: Les exercices d’entrainement à l’apnée statique sont répétitifs et plannifiables (O2 and CO2 tables in particular). Setting up such tables during a session requires the instructor or coach:

    • d’incrémenter ou décrémenter les temps et mémoriser les valeurs correspondantes

    All this makes it more complex to relax and ensure the session goes well.
